Roland Berger Strategy Consultants established itself in China in the 1980s; our development has been a journey full of discoveries and achievements over the past years. While adapting regularly to the specificities of the Greater China market , we have always been confident in our performance and have continued to help our clients and business partners address critical business issues in strategy, operations and corporate performance and achieve sustainable performance.

The global economic crisis and recent European and the US debt crisis have brought significant uncertainty to companies and markets worldwide. Companies in China were no exception. Against this backdrop, with deep management expertise and an excellent professional team, Roland Berger has been providing companies in China with many solutions to weather the storm so that they can boost their confidence and get through the crisis. Our services cover many different industries and functional areas, and our clients include state-owned companies, private companies, multi-national companies, government institutions and international organizations.

2011 is full of challenges and opportunities for all of us and 2012 is the 25th anniversary of Roland Berger Greater China. While we continue to help companies survive, stay the course and even benefit from the new environment, we ourselves also experience rapid growth. Not only has the number of our consultants in Greater China increased, but also we have moved further into the whole Asia. We opened our Singapore Office in 2010 and Kuala Lumpur Office in 2011. In doing so, we will continue to thrive and grow as our clients continue to do so as well, with our unwavering support.

Now more than ever, our Partners and team are committed to bringing their professional skills and experience to our existing and new clients. We value the opportunities we have to share the accumulation of international knowledge that our global firm has built over the past 40 years. Adapting this knowledge and expertise to unique situations helps our clients meet the real challenges arising in the China market .

Our Firm doubled in size over the last two years, allowing us to reach a critical size and a leadership position in the Greater China market. We are now able to serve clients from many industries on a broad range of topics including Mergers and Acquisitions. This also makes us confident in the role we can play both in leading the Consulting Industry and in guiding China to the next stage of its development as we believe "Knowledge is power".
