Jason Ding gives speech at "China Goes West " EUCCC Breakfast Seminar
More and more amazing opportunities are emerging in western China. In response to this trend, Roland Berger, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics, recently conducted a study on western China and opportunities for foreign companies. On a "China Goes West" seminar initiated by European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), Roland Berger Partner Jason Ding was invited as a keynote speaker to share the findings of the study with the audience.
Jason Ding started his speech by giving an overview of the Chinese western provinces, and moved on to the current state of development of the Chinese western provinces and the current involvement of foreign companies. Afterwards, he indicated the attractiveness of the different Chinese western provinces with a detailed comparison. He concluded that doing business in the western provinces offers a good access to the local markets, but companies should be well aware of the specific local conditions and should carefully choose a suitable local business partner if needed.
