Jason Ding shares insights on the competitiveness of Chinese multinational corporations
At the Salzburg Global Seminar's conference "Asia's Emerging Powers: Rivalry and Global Responsibility" held on Feb 25, Roland Berger Partner Jason Ding made a keynote speech on the challenges facing Chinese multinational corporations, including implementing rigorous post-merger integration programs, developing organizational capacity and gaining deep insights into global markets.
Speaking to a panel of Asian multinational corporations (MNCs), Jason outlined the successful approaches that Chinese MNCs have taken to excel not only in their huge domestic market, but also in overseas markets: Through organic growth, alliances, partnerships as well as mergers and acquisitions for international expansion, Chinese MNCs such as Lenovo, Haier, Huawei and Baosteel have successfully established themselves in the global market.
