2012 will mark the year of global elections. 26 countries including four significant economies-China, Russia, France and USA and regions will see transfers of governments or change of ruling parties. In this article, Charles-Edouard Bouée, President of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Asia, was exclusively interviewed and analyzed the global elections in 2012, as well as the possible influence on the world. According to Charles-Edouard Bouée, Roland Berger has invited global academic institutions and experts to take part in its “Project 2012” and analyze the important commercial and political events which will affect 2012 and the future. According to Roland Berger, the elections next year are expected to affect 51 percent of global GDP and 53 percent of global population.
